Rainbow Bridge Trail Backpacking Retreat

Description: A silent retreat in the Navaho Nation, Southern Utah, starting and ending in Page, Arizona
This annual retreat will walk the rainbow trail through beautiful redrock country. Backpacking 2-6 miles on many days with layover days and solo time as part of the mix. See www.desertdharma.org for more details on the flow of this kind of retreat. This is a silent retreat with dharma talks, formal practice, walking, solo retreat time, as well free time to explore the spectacular country. Experience is not required but training with carrying your backpack is highly recommended.

Lost Coast Meditation Retreat
Dates: June 19-25, 2011
Location: Lost Coast, California
Cost: $525 - $415 (sliding scale)

Description: A residential retreat at a remote oceanside house on the Lost Coast of northern California. Participants will hike in 9 miles along the seashore, and will need to carry some of their personal gear. Camping and inside accommodations are available.

High Mountain Camping Retreat
Dates: August 25-28, 2011
Location: Crested Butte, Colorado
Cost: $155-$130 (sliding scale)

Description: Come join us high in the alpine Colorado Rockies at the end of summer. We will be based at a secluded cabin above Lake Irwin. Accommodations will be camping, and meals are provided. Enjoy the silence of retreat, supported by meditation instruction, solo time, dharma talks, meetings with teachers and practice in the spectacular high mountains. We will come together as a small community to listen to the nature of our own life, and the wider life to which we belong. Suitable for beginning and experienced meditators.
